Right in the heart of what is popularly known as Sauvignon Blanc Country, between Durbanville and Bloubergstrand, lies D’Aria Wine Farm. Under the guidance of master winemaker, Rudi von Waltsleben, the delicate art of winemaking creates a wonderful harmony of the senses.

The vineyards are situated behind Tygerberg Hills, in both north- and east-facing rows. The soil in this area is rich and fertile, and the clay-textured soil preserves water and nutritional elements in the winter months, which sustains and controls the quality of the grapes in summer. Being situated only 10km from the Atlantic Sea greatly benefits our grapes, since the chilly sea breeze cools the grapes after a sizzling summer’s day.

Our winery is known for producing award-winning wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Noble Late Harvest, Shiraz, Cabernet, and Merlot, as well as a range of red cultivar blends. With its unique character and taste, along with the melodic names of our wines, such as Soprano, The Following,  Lullaby, Rock Song, and Pop Song, D’Aria has become a local favourite in the Durbanville community, with a tasting room that is a popular with locals and tourists alike.
